Amy grew up in a Christian family in Northwest Iowa and accepted Christ at a young age. She met her husband, James, while in college, and they moved their young family to Warsaw in 2005 to pursue a job opportunity. Amy has always had a passion for worship through music and began serving as a volunteer on the Worship Arts team when her family started attending WCC. She joined the staff part-time in 2022 and, following God’s leading, stepped into full-time ministry as the Worship Arts Director in 2023.

Amy and James have three girls: Riley (and Cameron) Whitaker, Hanna (and Dyllan) Hernandez, Olivia, and two Boxer dogs, Ocean and Lani.
